Teen Pushes Friend Off Washington Bridge As A Joke, Gets 48 Hours in Jail

In August of 2018, a cell phone video went viral of what looked to be a group of friends hanging out and one pushed another off the edge of a bridge into the water below, joking around, but ended up costing the victim, Jordan Holgerson, significant injuries, including six broken ribs, a punctured lung and air bubbles in her chest, per Good Morning America.

Tay'Lor Smith, the one who pushed the victim, was expected to walk out of court with 60 days of electronic home confinement, 30 days of community work crew and 30 days of community service, but the judge granted the wish of Jordan's mother for Tay'Lor to spend as many days in jail as her daughter was in a hospital bed.
