Let's get one thing clear: when the Jonas Brothers disbanded in 2013, my life was basically over.
Dramatic? Yep. Truth? 1000%
When it was announced that all 3 brothers were back together, it was a big deal. Then it was announced a couple of weeks ago that they were performing on the Billboard Music Awards...let's just do some math. They haven't performed as a group on an awards show since 2009...THAT'S 10 YEARS. So yes, it was one of the most anticipated performances of the night, and no not just by me (HATERS).
Nick took the stage first performing a stripped down, perfect falsetto version of his hit, "Jealous," and then Joe jumped in on the tail-end of the song to join in with his group's (DNCE) number one hit "Cake By The Ocean" - and with a kiss between Nick and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, the music slowed down and Kevin arose from the stage in the guitar-god-fashion that he does with FIRE all around him to start their first number one song as a group EVER, "Sucker."
With the fire, the fans (yes, Jennifer Hudson included), fire continued to fly and you could say that their performance was, indeed, "Burnin' Up"... 😉😁😍
And just a PS on this performance - you can see, honestly, for the first time in their careers, just how happy they all are to be performing together (and I should know because I went to 16 Jonas Brothers shows, collectively). They've NEVER been this happy and the Jonas magic is in full swing, back and BETTER than ever.
