'Two and a Half Men' Star Conchata Ferrell Dead at 77

Beloved actress Conchata Ferrell, best known as Charlie Sheen's housekeeper Berta on the television show Two and a Half Men, has died at the age of 77.

Ferrell passed away from complications following cardiac arrest, TMZ reports. She died peacefully surrounded by family in California.

Conchata went into cardiac arrest in July after checking herself into the hospital and was on a respirator and dialysis.

She appeared in all 12 seasons of Two and a Half Men for a total of 211 episodes, even though Sheen's exited from the show following season 8.

Ferrell also had roles in dozens of other television shows and films including Mystic Pizza, Murder, She Wrote, Edward Scissorhards, Walker, Texas Ranger, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Friends, Erin Brockovich and Mr. Deeds.
