It's wild to think it has already been over FIVE YEARS since Joaquin Phoenix first put on The Joker's makeup and he's returning this October with Lady Gaga as his Harley Quinn for a sequel!
The film is officially called Joker: Folie à Deux and the cast just revealed the first trailer at CinemaCon. Along with Lady Gaga, the movie will also add Catherine Keener (Get Out), Ken Leung (Old), and Brendan Gleeson (Banshees of Inisherin) to its cast.
In the trailer, which you can see below, we get the vibes that the sequel will focus on the love story between Gaga's Harley Quinn and Phoenix's Joker in Arkham Asylum where most of Batman's villains end up.
Rumors have said that the film will have some musical elements as well so fingers crossed we can get an original song from Lady Gaga that can win ALL the awards next year!
Joker: Folie à Deux is set to release in theaters on Oct. 4.
