Noise-Cancelling Headphones Might Impact Your Hearing

The answer to the universe of sound for a tech dude is a pair of noise-canceling headphones. They consider everything in the natural world to be "noise" and prefer the serenity of calm in their noise cancelling headphones.

The technology is generally considered good for your ears by reducing the overall noise levels you’re exposed to. But even though noise-canceling headphones are good for our hearing, it’s a myth that the technology is entirely good for us.

If you're like me you've been loving your new AirPod Pro Max's and though they have been doing their job they have also done a significant job of giving me crazy side effects after the fact!

Online forums are full of people complaining about ear pain, nausea, and headaches from noise-canceling headphones. So it's safe to assume large companies are aware of the issue and it's not just us who are feeling the uncomfortable after effects of using such headphones.

These forums largely share the same conspiracy theory: that active noise canceling is dangerous because it puts harmful pressure on your eardrum. However, that’s not quite right either, not hearing your environment is unnatural and adds to the side effects in which you're experiencing!

What do you guys think? is the clarity of audio more important than your natural hearing experience?
