If this doesn't put you in the holiday spirit, than nothing will YOU GRINCH! Just kidding, but I thought this was so amazing that I had to share! Happy Holidays!
I have gotten so many questions about how I made my progress with my weight loss so I thought I would try to encourage or inspire by sharing my story!
I’ve had so many questions asked...How much weight have I lost? What do I eat? How much do I work out? How did I do it?
Honestly, some days I am not even positive how I did it; especially since only yesterday did I fully realize my progress. All in all I have lost 61 pounds since giving birth. I have also put on muscle, which is something totally new to me.
I have officially stopped stepping on the scale because FINALLY I get that it's not about the number. My clothes fit differently and I feel great and so often the number can be discouraging.
I have completely changed the way I eat. I went gluten free about a year ago, not to lose weight but because I had terrible stomach issues and I was encouraged to do so. After that I decided not to also not eat bad. I wasn't specifically focused on eating great, I just knew what not to eat.
I started doing less than 20-minute workouts a few times a week with Corecamper and I loved that no matter how busy I was I could get it done no excuses.
Baby MJ will be 2 this month so it wasn't a fast journey by any means, but it was worth it!
I am stronger, much healthier and I feel good! Today I workout at least 5 days a week, I eat clean (much different than just avoiding the bad), I am still gluten free and I fully understand that slow progress is STILL progress!
The one thing that I learned...hard work pays off. Even when I am exhausted or annoyed, or whatever excuse I can come up with ...I still put in the work. It has become my lifestyle. I am not on a diet, I am not trying to lose weight, I am choosing to be healthy daily!
Hope you all had an amazing holiday! Here are some photos from my Thanksgiving with my little family.
