So in a recent episode of my new favorite dating show on Bravo, "Miss Advised" (It's Sarah's too!) Emily, the radio show host/relationship expert, said that she was trying out a new dating technique where she just says "Yes!" to every date. So she says yes to a guy she doesn't really like and it doesn't work out between the guy, but she was still happy with what she learned about herself from the experiment.

I was watching this and I thought, "Hm, wouldn't this be fun to do with every question you receive in life? It's like making your life into an improv skit. Think of all the possibities, like, want to get McDonald's (Even though you already had Taco Bell)? Yes! Should I buy a new dress for my fun night out even though I'm broke? Yes! Want to see the new Katy Perry movie? Yes! Yes! Yes!"

This seemed like an insane idea, but one that was totally fun and had amazing outcomes. Who doesn't want to eat McDonald's and Taco Bell in one day? Who doesn't like shopping? And  who doesn't want to see Katy Perry?

I got a sundae instead of just a cone like I always do. Crazy I know.

I know this is crazy, but I decided to try this on myself and just say "yes" to everything. What's the worst that could have happened? I eat an entire box of Tasti Kake Krimpets in one sitting?

Well this is what did happen:

-I got frozen yogurt and Rita's Italian Ice on the same day
-I got a meal at a restaurant that cost more than $12 (It was $13.5...living on the edge)
-I saw "Magic Mike" twice
-I didn't wear sunscreen to the beach
-I went to a really fun party
-I stayed up past my bed time (10 o'clock!) to watch some new crappy reality show
-I painted my bedroom green
-I texted some guy that I used to have a crush on
-I gave a waiter my phone number (I wrote it on an unused take out box!)
-I went swimming when I had a cold.

So basically, I ate too much, spent too much money, possibly have skin cancer and made my cold worse. But I did go to a fun party and got to see that hottie Channing Tatum with-out his shirt twice..
