WAIT... THE BLIZZARD'S NAME ISN'T NEMO?
Nope.
In a remarkable post from GAWKER, the website completely tears apart the idea that the name of this blizzard in the New England states has been officially named NEMO by anyone.
Rather, the WEATHER CHANNEL made this name up.
In fact, they made their own list of names for Winter storms... up.
As in, they invented them. The Government - or NOAA - they don't really name storms.
Crazy what truth you find... when you dig. Good job, Gawker!
